TRAINING ON CHAR PREPARATION

Seva Kendra Calcutta's NRM project organized a training on preparation of Char and other charcoal products.
A hands-on training on Preparation of Char powder and other products made of charcoal like soaps, deodorizer, mosquito repellent etc was given to the tribal women of the NRM Project, conducted by Samuchit Enviro Tech. The purpose of the training was to equip the tribal women on alternative livelihood options simultaneously addressing Climate change adaption and mitigation. So through this training the skills of the tribal women were enhanced, as well as a knowledge based training of the products, which are chemical free and are completely organic , eco friendly and safe for use.
