Hands-on training on organic farming and mushroom culture in Kishalaya Home

Seva Kendra Calcutta-SKC- started hands-on training on organic farming and mushroom culture in Kishalaya Home. This program was started in 2017 and every year we have trained more than 20 inmate boys. They had received hands-on training and learnt the techniques of organic farming and the art of nursery making. In 2019 academic year (Jan-Dec) these boys had made a small vegetable garden in 21 decimal land in their home campus and produced more than 2571kgs of vegetables. These were used in their daily kitchen and were consumed by the juvenile inmates.
